Angela Leone arrived on the Cabaret scene in 2012. She always liked singing having come from a musically-inclined family. In high school and college she was awarded a music scholarship by the city of New York as a member of the "All City Orchestra" as an outstanding Woodwind Musician. The Bass clarinet was her favorite woodwind instrument.
In 2013 Angela started taking singing lessons at the Singers Forum, a singing school located in New York City. It was at this school that she met Bill Zeffiro with whom she started taking private lessons. Aside from being Angela's voice coach, Bill is also her music director.
Angela has blossomed into a wonderful and very talented singer With her cool, smooth voice she is often compared to and called the "female Tony Bennett."
In 2015 Angela had her first professional performance with her Trio at Tomi Jazz, located on the eastside of Manhattan.
In 2016 Angela had 3 seperate outstanding performances with her show "All My Tomorrows" at Don't Tell Mama with her fabulous Trio.
In 2017, Angela was selected to the MAC preliminary Ballot in the category of "New York City debut singer."
Angela is in the final stages of completing her CD being recorded at PPI Studios in New York City. The CD is called "All My Tomorrows" and contains 17 songs from the Great American Songbook Book. It will be presented to the public in New York City at a soon to be announced Venue by mid to late summer 2017.
